Hi, and welcome to my website. As well as
working as a truck driver - amongst other things - I am a children's author (although I have written a couple of books for
young adults too) with three published books to my name so far. But, fear ye not because there are many more titles
also planned to be published in the near future.
For 20 years I have said that I would be a famous author one day,
and now that time has come to bring my dreams to fruition. I did not originally set out with the intention of writing for
children but a very good friend of mine suggested that I should give it a try and, so far, it seems to be working out. To
date, my first book ("A Cat Called Ian") has been selling well, with copies being sent to several countries, including:
Hong Kong, Estonia, Israel, several states of the USA, New Zealand, Australia, Spain, Holland and Zimbabwe... and there
are probably other countries that I don't know it has been sent to!
Feedback has been excellent and I have recently been asked when my
books will be available in the US because there appears to be a demand. Unfortunately, I can't answer that one at the moment
but I will endeavour to get my titles out there as soon as possible.
I do not write to a particular format, nor do I wish to write a never-ending
series that could grow to become tedious - and I also write whatever idea comes into my head, which is mainly fantasy based
- because the way I see things is to be of free mind, body and spirit. Therefore, what I am trying to say is that one
should do what feels right and follow your dreams; they really can come true... all you have to do is believe!
